God's invitation

"Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always." I Chronicles 16:11

"But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul." Deuteronomy 4:29

This week my God Seeker Bible study was entitled "God Seekers Accept the Invitation to Seek God. Our lesson tomorrow night will focus on the invitation that God provides to us, as in the scriptures above, as well as our part as a seeker. I think it's so neat to think that God has invited me, an unimportant nobody in the big scheme of the world, to seek Him AND find Him. It's like being invited to a celebrity's mansion but better! Just as I ready myself to go to a party or someone's house that I've been invited to, I must ready myself and do my part to be a good friend to God.
